Why the heck would the WWE air a 3-hour tribute to Chris Benoit after admitting that he just murdered his wife and 7-year old son. Money? they probably didn't want to refund all the money paid for the pay-per-view event that had to be cancelled. Should we boycott WWE?

BOB...the fact that they didn't have any information is exactly why they shouldn't have aired anything! Assumption is the mother of all F**k ups.

Ok, so it was Monday Night Raw that was cancelled not Pay Per View.

I think youre right on this one.. I didnt know what happened till this morning. I just knew he was dead and thought it was a nice deed to pay respect.. but now that I know, I'm furious!!
What am I supposed to tell my son? You're favorite wrestler shot and killed his 7 yr and his wife???
I guess WWE was just showing respect for the man because I'm pretty sure they dont NEED that money.. but I'm very upset that they are glorifing this cold blooded killer!!

I really don't think a lot of people are paying attention to what is going on... yes what Benoit did was wrong... but the WWE didn't kill him and his family... they canceled last nights event to recognize an amazing wrestler... exactly what the WWE is... wrestlers... they have nothing to do with what these stars do with their private life... Benoit and the McMahon's were actually pretty close and so were a lot of the other wrestlers... no one had any idea of why this happened but to answer your question... no... and I feel like anyone who thinks they should be boycotted should get slapped... they did a three hour special recognizing a great wrestler... not the man that "killed" his family... I feel like maybe if more people actually payed attention to what was going on and actually watched last nights event they would see that money wasn't a factor... a lot of people in the business lost a great friend in this weekends past events... also again if you watched it you would have known that the pay per view event was never canceled... they weren't aware of what was wrong with Benoit... as far as they knew he was having "family problems" and they had another wrestler take his place in the event... you might want to read up on the facts before you start sending things around... WWE.com has it all there...

They lost money but not leting people attend the event last night, Benoit, according to reports died on Monday, as he was still texting fellow wrestlers Sunday afternoon. These text messages were the reason Sheriff office was called to check on Chris and his family. They PayPer-View could not have been affected. WWE learned about the death of the family at 4, doors to a RAW taping normal open at 7:30 for the Heat tapeing. This left officals about 3 hours to let all the talent know and make a call on what to do for the show. WWE.com has pulled all the tributes down from the website and are scheduled to run a normal ECW and SmackDown! tapeing tonight with storylines not trubites in light of the recent news of a murder. We can only support the WWE and help Benoit's friends get over this sad time in their lives with the loss of a friend and their family

I honestly dont thinky they knew about the circumstances. They were told at 4 pm that Benoit and his family were dead, thats all they were told. They then had about 2 hours to get everything ready, the arena cleared, and figure out what they were going to do before the show aired at 8 pm. It wasnt until about 10 pm that there was a news conference that the police believe that it was a Murder Suicide. So no they shouldn't be ashamed. Im willing to bet they had no idea what the causes of death was, nor did any of the WWE superstars. In fact they probably LOST **** loads of money from having to refund all their tickets from last nights show. Never in my wildest dreams did I think that this was going to be a murder-Suicide. It just seems so uncharacteristic of Benoit. I commend the WWE on what they did with all things considered with having Vince be the one in the ring, and now dropping the death/ murder angle. Now that news is comming out on the causes of death, WWE .com has actually dropped everything that was in trubute to Benoit, and only have the news story up. So obvouisly their just as ashamed as we are.
On another note we dont totally know what happened. Id wait till the investigation is totaly over before we pass and judgement on Benoit or his family. This is a tough time for everyone involved, lets not make this into a circus like the Media is doing.

Your facts are wrong. Benoit never admited he murdered his family. He was dead when they found him. And they did not cancel a pay-per-view, the cancelled a normal night because they felt their entertainers shouldn't have to go out and perform under those conditions. WWE called the police because Benoit had not showed up and they filed a missing persons which resulted in the police reporting to the benoit household.

Do you know everything?!? It isn't confirmed! There are so many theories out about his death. WWE fakes deaths all the time and you people don't give a ******** about it! Chris Benoit's is serious. Did you ever come to think that another wrestler was jelous or someone was blackmailling him and his family. I mean both Eddie Guerrero and Chris dropped out before Paper-view events? That's suspicious. I mean it could even be The Great Khali after what he did to Randy Orton, Shawn Micheals, and EDGE! Maybe he wanted that title too! You can't go on blaming things that might not even be true.

The WWE did not know the details of the deaths of the Benoit family & should not be ashamed for airing a 3-hour telecast dedicated to the memory & legacy of Chris Benoit.
As for boycotting the WWE, no. If you want to boycott them, go ahead! It's your life & your decesion.

They didnt know he did that, they had pre recorded that when they first found out they had all been killed, if they had known they would have not shown that. They already took all of his tributes off of wwe.com. Although they should be ashamed due to the fact that they found a massive amount of steroids in his house, and from what I know, WWE is supposed to check the wrestlers all of the time for things like that, and they obviously havent been.
PS.
No pay per view was cancelled, I dont know who told you that

WWE is getting a little out there. The whole thing with Eddie Guerro and now Chris Benoit and Vince McMan's "Death". Whatever! They need to calm down a little for real.
