I had a sex toy that I used for a few months (not too regularly), and after a few months it would burn when I used it. I found out you're not supposed to clean it with soap and water but with an actual vibrator cleaner, so I threw it out and baught a new one and a cleanser for it. Now the same thing has happened after a few months with the new one. I always clean it afterwards, and I don't think it's an allergic reaction because it always takes a few months for the burning sensation to occur. Any advice or anyone with a similar experience?

If it is an allergic reaction (which again is unlikely since it takes about 6 months for this to happen), which material should I get for a new one?

It can certainly be a reaction to latex. Try the condom over it trick.

It may also be that the batteries have corroded. Don't use cheap batteries (often the ones that come with the toy). They don't last long and can leak.

Also don't use the extremely powerful batt's like rechargables. They can burn out the motors.

Pthalates are toxic substances in some sex toys. They are not regulated and can cause a host of problems.

You might be allergic to the plastic, silicone or latex the toy is made of.... DO NOT USE the toy again... Or you might be allergic to the toy cleaner and you can wipe the toy down with soap/water however over time it might dry out the device's plastic/silicone/latex...Or....you're not using lubricant with the toy and it's burning your girlie parts... Good luck

Either your toy is cheating on you or someone else is using it. Do you live with someone that would borrow it?
