i was tie dying a shirt on my outdoor picnic table and the dye seeped thorugh the newspaper and left a big red stain...ive tried everything to remove it but it just doesnt seem to be working...got any ideas?

Is it varnished? That's going to be the problem; you may ruin any finish trying to clean it up. If I don't care about that, I try various sprays; little bleach in water sprayed on, oxyclean product, and 409 has even worked. For a surface stain, you can't beat those magic sponges, but have also had them take off a finish if you're rubbing hard. In the old days, we used a little rubbing alcohol with a q-tip for small stains and the inside of a walnut to rub dark again. Good luck!

Try a pressure washer. You can get cleaner specifically for wood to add to the pressure washer.

Stain the rest of the table red too.....it will be unique!

toothpaste and a small cloth ,rub it in and let stand for a couple hours.

don't worry. make a new color full pattern and make it a fine job instead of worrying
