It depends on the weight. If it's just a letter, then 1 stamp. But if it has lots of pages and pictures or something, you might want to put 2 or 3 on it. Hope this helps!

it depends on the size and weight. If it is a normal evenolpe with only a few pieces of paper. 1 stamp should be fine. If it is a birthday card, or a bigger envelope put 2 stamps. If it is heavy, just take it to the post office and they will put the postage on for you.

postage is now 41 cents so you put any stamps on that equal 41 even if it is an old 2 cent stamp. Former postal worker.

1. just go to your local usps and pick up some. or if you have wells fargo, you can buy stamps at the ATM machine!
They are 41 cents now???
I haven't mailed anything by stamp in like ages. I usually use priority.
