I still have a wanadoo dial up pay as you go. It would be orange now. I checked for you- On the orange website you can still have ordinary dial up (it stays alive with your E-mail addresses if you dont leave it more than 90 days) or anytime if you pay.

Mark.

Not sure, but me and my boyfriend went into Wetherspoons with his laptop the other day as they have started doing free internet for half an hour wi-fi, and you pay for additional time, and the browser automatically opened up to a company called "The Cloud" (which is who wetherspoons are using) which had various charges for short-term uses (half an hour, 2 hours, etc). I don't know whether "The Cloud" just do business internet usage or if they also do home usage as well, but it may be worth a look. I would imagine there would be similar companies out there also.

Hi,

I was on dial-up awaiting my new broadband connection and I used Tiscali Dial-up. I found them the best, but keep an eye on the internet charges as it 4p per minute peak, 2p per minute off-peak and 1p per minute all weekend. Do NOT use Supanet, they are a rip-off and end up charging you about £3.50 per hour.

Plus net ( http://www.plus.net/residential/?home=resindextop ) do a month to month contract as well as 12 month. This may be of some use to you.
