Not all of these are REALLY good pitchers, but they can hit.

Mike Hampton
Carlos Zambrano
Jason Marquis
John Smoltz
Greg Maddux

I know back in the Early 90s the Braves rotation would have a bet to see which of them could finish with the best average. All 5 of them could hit.

Believe it or not but, although he isnt in his prime anymore and is on the decline, Mike Mussina is one of the best pitchers that can hit.

Also Mike Hampton is really good. I think he holds the record or is tied for record for HR's by a pitcher in a season.

Big Z, Carlos Zambrano is also a good hitter.

I can't think of exactly five really good ones, and you have to remember, the ones I will mention are great hitters for PITCHERS, but they are not as good as regular batters.

Here they are: Carlos Zambrano, Mike Hampton, Jason Marquis, and Mark Mulder are the best.

Santana showed some pop in his bat the last couple weeks.
Zombrano is good, Mike Hampton I think leads active pitchers in homeruns. Babe Ruth was also a pitcher, he hit 99 homeruns when he pitched.

Zambrano - CHI NL
Hampton - ATL
Lowry - SF
Willis - FLA
Jennings and Backe - HOU

I know there's a few more I'm leaving out too, but those guys are good and actually pinch hit occasionally
