Colleen has been recast as said below. There have been rumors as to why one was that she was difficult another was that she had problems with staff and another is her weight. I don't know but apparantly her last day will be in July and then the new girl will take over at some point.

yuh, something like that. since they have already stated that there will be a new Coll, they will need a way for the old-current Coll to be booted off.
Maybe a kidnapping of sorts?

I love this Colleen. If I remember correctly this is the original actor and the recasts take time getting used to but, seriously I don't think that they are good. They could do what they did with Mac, Victoria, and Lily. The original plays they recast it and then the original comes back. I remember the old Victoria with Deigo, that was a while ago, and I remember the two or three different Macs, but vaguely, and then I love this Colleen. I love her and J.T. together. I hope they get back together. I hear that Adrian is going to propose and Colleen finds out Vicki and J.T. slept together again, and then that Adrian finally reveals his identity. So I think Colleen says no and Adrian leaves town for a while and Vicki and Adrian hook up and J.T. and Colleen? I love J.T. and Colleen together. Hopefully she doesn't find out about the baby really soon.

I think her last day is this week and the new girl starts next month.....
I think she was good for what she was given - which wasn't a whole lot - and the recast we'll see a more mature yes, older/sophisticated Colleen. The actress who was let go can grow up a bit out of the shadow of the show and character; I think it'll be good for her.
She's got other things going , like her band...

Colleen is being recast by an Australian soap star that was on the same soap there as the actor that plays Cane. Her name is Tammin Sursok. Strange name. I read online it's a Jewish name. I guess she can do an American accent. How would they explain an Australian accent?

No there will not be an absence. The new girl will just be brought right into the role and there will be an announcement: "The role of Colleen Carlton is now being played by Tammin Sursok ". That's it!

I didn't realize Tammin Sursok was on American TV. Strange, considering how "low" American soaps are compared to Australian soaps. (I'm not putting them down. I happen to like ATWT at the moment. ) Tammin Sursok is a good actress and a good singer. Check out her vocal talents at her website, www.tammin.com.

Sorry, but I hope the door doesnt hit her on the way out! I just can't stand (cant even remember her name, imagine that) her. Probably wouldnt have been so bad if they would have done something w/her clothes and hair.

No !!!!!!!! They must have there reasons for leaving her go.
They replace all the time , I like her , I hate to see her go .
The storyline could have been a little better .
