the same thing as everyone else and they can be quite creative with Ramen.

I work with incarcerated individuals here in California. Last week I went into the lunchroom to talk with a prisoner. He was having tuna fish on bread, decaf coffee and mixed fruit. The meals here are not unlike school lunches; they are palatable but certainly not gourmet.

Food. :-) They typically have a varied menu, which has to provide them with the vitamins and nutrients they need to be healthy. While they don't get as large of servings as you or I can get outside of jail, they won't starve. Also, to supplement their regular meals, they can buy some food items from the commissary in the prison.

Mostly bread and water, but I've seen some eat TV dinners consisting of meat, potatoes and vegetables.
