i would say religious conflict in general is the longest conflict in history. Every religon trying to press its religion upon everyone else. And in terms of one religion winning that list, it would be Christianity vs the world. many billions of people have died over this conflict, it is by far the most violent, and continious conflict in the history of the world.

Racsim is the longest conflict my friend...and this is the only thing that is fueling the conflict between the Palestines and Jews....but it will all be over real soon...real soon.
And to the previous poster that said this conflict had begun in 1947...take that date back about 2,000 years before and then you will be on track :P

It may not be the longest...but it's got to be close.
As for "Paul Hxyz" comment that the conflict started in 1947...perhaps you're only after the 2 points...but you really embarrass yourself when you make uninformed comments like that. Go sell crazy someplace else, we're all stocked up here....

No. It started in 1947 when the U.N. declared that what had been Palestine was now Israel. There have been longer conflicts, like the 100 Years War.
