What is it and why? mine is The green Mile because it is so well acted and it made me laugh and cry!

philadelphia mine dude it hit so many chords when people had forgotten about a disease that is so horribly nasty and it shows just how nasty man can be when confronted with something they know nothing about

I would have to agree about The Green Mile! It's a great book and a great movie! It's sad one but it actualy makes you feel good! Tom Hanks is so good in all of his movies! I also really like The Terminal. i think that's what it's called. The one about him being in the airport. That's a good one too, because there is a little humor in it, but it's just a really cute movie!

He went through a great stage during the 90's by making Philidelphia, Apollo 13 and Forrest Gump.
However i still prefer his comic films from the 80's which include Big, Splash, The Money Pit etc. My favourite is him in Bachelor Party.

Without a shadow of a doubt: Forest Gump. Not just my favourite Tom Hanks movie, but one of my all time favourites of any actor or movie style.

He is a living legned, theres not one film of his i hate.. it will have to be a toss up between forest gump or the green mile, i cried so much at the green mile..

Either Forrest Gump because He played a really good part t5he story line was great or A League Of their Own cuz it is just a classic and I love that movie, I will watch it no matter what I am doing.

Yeah, probably The Green Mile. I liked Forrest Gump too, for pretty much the same reasons. Philadelphia was good, but it pretty much just made me cry.

I love Tom Hank movies and he was great in everything he did. I'm torn between Philidelphia, Forrest Gump, and Sleepless in Seattle....but I have to admit, he, Gina Davis, Madonna and Rosie O'Donald had great chemistry in "A league of their own." that couldn't be pulled off by any other cast.
