why are people so fake?

why do people wear fake hair fake nails fake tan fake eyelashes and super thick makeup? i mean what is wrong with looking natural?

's i didnt say there was any think wrong with a little makeup and stuff but its true that some people over do it and end up looking like drug queens. i honestly think people look better when they dont try so hard to look pretty.

i agree. they're self-conscious. dont get me wrong , i like to wear make up and look nice, but i dont over do it. im also guilty of fake baking, but i'm not overly tan. i just have a little color b/c if i dont tan i look sickly pale. i just look like i have a healthy color. i absolutely HATE seeing girls walking around with fake everything from boobs to eyelashes. the other day i went to bush gardens and i seen this woman with a TINY skirt, some little belly shirt...and she had quite a stomach on her lol..and BIG like 7 inch heels on..walking around BUSH GARDENS! thats ridiculous. i hate when people think they must dress trashy and look like a fake whore instead of wearing a little make up and comfortable clothes. they r just REALLY insecure and they want to feel pretty/beautiful and its sad that they dont know, and u cant convince them, that they'd look better w/o all the make up and fakeness.

people feel the need to look pretty. i mean, there is nothing wrong with a fake tan becuase the real, natural thing ( sun) is bad for you. so the only reason people use self tanner is basically because they dont want to lay out in the damaging rays of the sun. but today, people are beggining to think they they arent beautiful how they are and they feel the nees to be somebody else. which isnt true of course... i mean fake tans and maybe hair extensions are ok once in a while but.... you get the picture.

for some people nature has given a good gift such as nice appearence, but for some people the nature has given some else good than appearence.. so the people who has a beauty from nature they never went for fake, because some people might not ready to lose the given gift by the fake.. but some people who are greedy to get both goes for fake and get nothing at the end..

people who get something else beauty than appearence they naturally go for fake to make themselves beauty.. if the fake product is not in world anymore.. some of guys and girls will only would have got married.. and some of them should have to wait until they get a good appearence.

ohnestly i think everyone needs to quit worrying about everyone else and look at themselfs!!! just because someone wears fake nails, or gets a tan doesnt mean that there fake!!! and its completely ridiculous for you to judge someone on that!!! that makes you just as shallow fake as they supposedly are!!! i bet theres tonzs of stuff wrong with you that a little makeup could help!! theres nothing wrong with wanting to make yourself look better!!! neways the whole point of this is to tell you to get over yourself and quit worrying about other people!!!!

You forgot one why do they have to have all that Plastic surgery.you know like getting your knees lifted,liposuction,getting their lips done so they will be bigger,tummy tucks.Some peoples bodies are literally plastic,just look at Hollywood.

Fake hair,nails,tans,eyelashes and super thick makeup fails in comparison to all that.

Tere is nothing wrong with looking natural but they're just unhappy with the way they look and they think that with putting all this make-up and stuffs ,they would look better but ,they're wrong.

There is nothing wrong with being natural, but sometimes 'natural' is plain and boring, and in the work industry you have to show that you care about your appearance. Oftentimes, in moderation these practices do improve attractiveness, and let's be real- MEN IGNORE UGLY WOMEN!

People just want attention, I wear a wig and fake nails to be funny, then I see someone doing it seriously, it's totally bogus. Like Paris Hilton or someone like that are just posers and want even MORE attention.
