Given that you are using an older computer, I would make sure that you have the system requirements to run the game. Generally a game that requires 6 GB of hard drive space also requires more ram and a faster graphics card to run smoothly or not appear choppy and stall.

As for referring to Hard Drive space as Memory; that is not incorrect. The space on the Hard Drive is sometimes referred to as memory but, more commonly Ram is called memory.

There are a few things you can do to free up some space on your hard drive.

-Defragment your hard drive. This is done by going to START then PROGRAMS then ACCESSORIES then SYSTEM TOOLS then DISK DEFRAGMENTER. then select the drive (most likely C) and click DEFRAGMENT.

-Clean your Cache. This is done by going to START then PROGRAMS then ACCESSORIES then SYSTEM TOOLS then DISK CLEAN UP. This will delete temporary Internet files and items in your recycling bin.

-Finally if neither of these options free up enough space you may want to invest in a new hard drive. If you buy a new hard drive an external USB Hard Drive is an easy option. All you need to do is plug it into the USB port on your computer.

Below are a few websites that might help you out.

www.tomshardware.com This is a great place to research computer parts.

www.newegg.com
www.tigerdirect.com Both of these sites have great prices on computer parts.

ok you are talking about hard drive space, in that case you should buy a new hard drive for an operating system that has 2000 install a hard drive of 80 gb will do well, then install and move your document to that new hard drive and erase what you had in the old one, or also you can clone the hard drive so it is identical as the one you have but with the difference of the extra space, there is no other way to do so with out erasing old files.

Hi. There are two things you may have confused, memory and storage. The hard drive stores things like data and programs and the RAM is your memory. Both are pretty easy to upgrade.

The best solution would be buying a new memory for your computer from Best Buy or something like that. Otherwise you will have to delete stuff....just delete stuff you do not use. If you go into the control panel and then add/delete files, it will show you which ones you use and which ones you do not. Just delete the ones you don't use.

You are talking about Storage, not Memory, memory is RAM not hard drive space.

If you want more storage you can add a second hard drive to your computer. It is very easy.

You DON'T have 11GB 'memory'. You have a HDD with that much storage. Get a bigger disc drive! ~
Today a 11GB HDD is tiny! Get a much larger drive. Best prices at http://www.pricewatch.com
