No. There are some smaller party---Libertarian Party may be what you're looking for----but none every get more than 1% of the vote. If enough conservatives get mad at the Republican Party and don't vote, then the Democrats win. Right now we're stuck between a rock and a hard place. The only thing to do is support Republican who espouse conservative values----if you can find any.

The Libertarian Party is where most true conservatives are now. Ron Paul, one of the biggest and first supporters of Ronald Reagan, the last true Conservative President, is a member of the Libertarian Party and is where most conservatives who are frustrated with the current Republican Party have gone. The socialists have hijacked the Democrat Party and the big businesses have hijacked the Republican Party.

I would not call it a conservative political party, just one that seems to be interested in returning America to what the founders initiated. The Constitution Party upholds the Const. as the supreme law of the land and is working to restore gov't to its rightful size and scope.
I think the website is ConstitutionParty.org

You and I are sitting on the same fence. I gave up on either party years ago. Even before the severe partisanship that we see today. Every time a third party comes to the rodeo they are either far left of Michael Moore or way to the right of Rush Limbaugh. My favorite politician today is Arnold Schwarzenegger. He is a centrist like I am regardless of his affiliation with the republican party. Even though he is barred from running for president, I'd love to see the Governator organize a third party that shares some of the good ideas of both sides of the isle. We'll see I guess because allot of people are fed up with both parties. Maybe not this time around but who knows?

Sounds like you'd be interested in the Constitution Party (AKA the US Taxpayer Party in Michigan). They are a little further to the right than the Republican party... and strongly support securing the border.
That said, however, there are many, many, many Republicans who are discusted by this immigration bill... including such figures as Rush Limbaugh, Sean Hannity, and Ann Coulter, so if you remain a Republican, you're not alone in your discust of this immigration bill...

The problem is that we as americans vote for partys not candidates. Become an independant and vote for the person you feel will best represent you. The political partys really stand for nothing except getting elected....ask yourself this....if the republican party really believed in small government, fiscal responsibility, ending welfare, getting rid of entitlements......what stopped them from doing those things during the 6 yrs they held both congress iand the whitehouse?.....honestly....there was nothing to stop them, but they didnt do it.

The 2 party system we currently have is a real problem eg many are social conservatives but economic liberals and vice versa.
Who do such people vote for if they have strong beliefs in both areas?

Our political system is changing and it is happening very rapidly. Did you ever notice how republicans are distancing themselves from the chimp?
There are two other parties out there, and they are the Green Party and the Libertarian movement. Neither one strikes me as much different that what the democrats and republicans offer. There is also Unity08 and you can check it out on the web.
