I believe in what my senses pick up--and I do know that the range of our perception is limited. As a young teenager, my cousin, Mom, and Aunt tried out "Rise table, rise" We each stood with our hands placed flat on each side of the card table. After a number or repetitions, it began to rise on two legs and stand there. We asked it to tap once for "yes" and twice for "no". It DID--and answered what was accurate all evening! NO ONE was either pushing down nor manipulating the table! To demonstrate this, two people removed their hands and the table didn't fall. Then only one person held their hands and worked them up on the "up" side of the table. It remained standing there on the lower two legs. We kept asking it qu's all evening and finally, it began tapping wildly and, as if tired of it all, tapped and bounced itself over to the front door and quit!! We never tried it again, but I found references of "Turning tables" on the internet, which was a popular parlor game in Victorian times..and adjunct religions which use this still. ----Physics says that energy can't be destroyed, but simply changes form--such as ice into water; water into moisture; and back into rain, etc. People ARE energy and would be applicable to this same physics law! In my belief, we recycle into different forms of energy as well. I DO believe that there were/are a lot of parlor tricks to defraud people of money! Both so called religious as well as fortune telling. But that doesn't mean the phenomenon is not real.

Parapsychology? Sure I believe it exists. It's the circumstances they investigate I'm skeptical about.

It's a real field of endeavor. I don't know how profitable it would be as a profession.
