I read a while back, and I don't remember where, that WWE has stopped testing for drugs because of all the trouble they were having with their 'wrestlers' doing drugs - like Masterpiece and Rob VanDam, among others. I don't know if this is true, but if it is, they need to start testing again and set harsh punishment for a positive test. Steroids cause people to do things they would never do, but it's only one of the many things that cause people to kill.

They can find out very easily now during autopsy if he was using steriods. But, the truth of the matter is, as much as many of us like to be entertained by the flashy and crazy antics of WWE, we all know there's nothing professional or competative about it. It's basically a soap orpra for men. Nothing more, nothing less. i don't know if you can really apply the sporting rules of steriod use to something that isn't a real competative sport in the first place. We all know that every single time two guys enter the ring, the outcome has already been determined. It's just not the same as a truely competative sport such as say, baseball or football. I'm not saying I don't like it. My son and I both watch and enjoy it. But we know it for what it is. Entertainment rather than true competition.

I love sports, but I don't think any league has addressed it properly...
And, I agree, it usually takes a tragedy to open people's eyes, at least for a little while. Then everything returns back to normal.
