There are several different reasons why I star questions.
#1 I really like the question and I want the person to know it by giving him/her a star.
#2 I think that the question may be of interest to one or more of my contacts and I want them to see it.
#3 If somebody has picked me as best answer and I've written a commentary, I will star the question so the person can see it and read my commentary.
#4 Rare occasions that call for it such as one question where a person asked what I'd wish for. I named my wish and then starred it to wish upon my star.
#5 I want one of my contacts to see my answer. I have some running jokes with some people on here and starring the question helps them see it.
However, I do not star questions like, "Can I have a star, please??" Because those irritate the h-e-double hockey sticks outta me!!

Well Billy, sadly I think I probably drive all my contacts crazy because I star almost all the questions I answer. The reason is simple, I love giving out stars. If someone has taken the time and effort to ask a question, they should be rewarded. (I spend a fortune on buying stars for my class because I love rewarding the effort, however small, that they make.)

I am not here to judge questions. The reason I give stars and lots of them. It passes the question on to all of my contacts. That way people see questions they might not have seen. This way a question gets read by many more people thus get even more answers. Especially when they star it also.

A question is worthy my star when I want friends to -
1) see the question
2) answer the question themselves
3) read my answer to the question
4) Check out the hot avatar (Oops! Girl thing!)
You may decide for which reason I always star your question....;-)

Well, if it is a question asked by one of my contacts, they get a star. If I really like the question and think my contacts might as well, they get a star. Sometimes I forget, but I try to always give out my stars.

lol...sponge-worthy!
If it's one I think my contacts would like, if it makes me laugh or if it's slightly obscure. Truthfully, I star most of the questions I answer simply because, I only answer ones I like, make me laugh or are obscure! lol There are questions, I answer, that I don't star though.

Nothing really I just sometimes feel like being nice and I star almost every question that I answer. Or sometimes if I want to be sure my contacts see it I will star it also.

That was a funny episode . . . =)
Honestly, because I never use all of my stars. I pretty much give every question I answer a star (unless it's just really ordinary or has been asked a million times). I'm a free star giver . . .lol.

One that makes me reach deep down inside for an answer or causes me to rethink an opinion. Sometimes one that really makes me laugh. Ones that show thought and caring and some concern for others is also a sure winner.
