Going from the USA to China and visa versa. Also do you know about any of the charges that come with it such as freight and handling costs, insurance, customs duties, taxes and tariffs,
and related fees and expenses, on a per unit basis?

You'll need to find out how much a 40' container of the stuff you want to ship costs, and the custom duties in whichever direction it moves. ~
Then you can calculate pricing easily. Without that info not at all.

I'm afraid there is no easy answer to your question. It depends on what products you are importing and exporting, how you are shipping (ocean or air), in what quantities you are shipping, and the duties and taxes that apply to your particular products.

I'd strongly recommend that you contact a freight forwarder in your area who has experience in both imports and exports. They can help determine what the various costs will be, help arrange the shipment, and help you with the paperwork that's required for both importing and exporting.

I'd also recommend that you check out the International Business Training website for a variety of free articles about importing and exporting, free international trade tools, and books and seminars on a variety of international trade topics.

Shipping (by sea) your personal effects by Container (various sizes are available) should be quite cheap & not attract customs duties, however if you are shipping goods for resale it's a different matter ...

So I would say "it depends"
Unit of what ?
Air or Sea ?

Why not contact an International Shipping Company and ask for a quote ??
