I am reading all of these answers that say the deep south and laughing my self out of my seat. I live in the deep south and its nothing to be afraid of, perhaps you all have been watching Deliverance a little too much. As for a place I would be afraid to visit I cant really think of one, I have been all over the US and most places are just different not scary.

I don't have a scary US city - I haven't been to many so I honestly can't say.
But I do live outside of Detroit in the metro area and and it's not any different then any other city.

What a bunch of idiots. Has any of these people who wouldn't want to go to Detroit ever actually been there? NO Detroit has a bad rep but its not a bad place. I just came here to say that. I'm not sure where I wouldn't want to visit.

The cities in which most of the citizens show intolerance towards certain groups of people (Blacks, homosexuals, etc.) With my opinions, I'd never be able to get along with many people

I was at an atm getting some cash and then random azz guy walked up behind me and said " I CAN TELL YOUR NOT FROM HERE..." and walked away.
What the hell was that about??? I swear I went home within that day or two and never looked back
