It's hard enough taking most of the Republicans seriously besides Fred Thompson, but taking any of the Democrats seriously is difficult. John Edwards is probably the only serious Democratic Presidential material and I like his stance on health care. Obama just says what everyone wants to hear, wants to negotiate with terrorists, and has the serious risk of being assassinated because he is black, and Hillary Clinton can't make up her mind if she supported the Iraq War and is only running because of a multi-million dollar trust fund she gets if she wins and would be an embarassment to the country. Many people I know are seriously going to move to Canada if she becomes President. So basically all the Democrats are jokes and only 1 Republican I take seriously. If it wasn't for Fred Thompson, I would vote 3rd Party, and in 2008, I might just do that.

I think that Hillary Clinton would be a very bad President for our country, I don't like her and I would never support her in the race for the Presidency, but I don't think she's a joke.
The problem here is that too many take her seriously. They don't look at her past, her political ideology or her personality, they only see a woman and that's all they need to support her. Some who like her husband have told me we would get two Presidents for the price of one if she is elected.
Hillary is not a democrat, she's a Socialist and that scares me and it scares my checkbook.

No, she's not a joke at all. You may have trouble taking her seriously but there are millions who are not blinded by irrational dislike of her that take her very seriously. It's very easy to follow the rationality of Sen. Clinton's war stance, from her vote for the resolution, to her anger that Bush didn't follow the guidelines set out in the resolution (exhaustion of diplomacy and UN approval), and her anger at his incompetence in running the war and his lack of planning which has led to us policing the Iraqi's civil war. Move to Canada? Talk about cutting and running. I wouldn't leave my country if there was a communist take over - I'd stay and fight to save her. So if there are idiots who actually do move to Canada if Sen. Clinton wins, they are people real Americans don't need here anyway.
Fred Thompson will be a formidable candidate. But I've found that right now, few people who are beating his drum actually know much about him when you press them. He's the "Daddy" candidate the Republicans have been praying for, so right now his past voting record and political history are taking a back seat to how attractive a candidate he seems on the surface. When he was a senator his voting record looked like he was more of a Democrat than a Republican. Pro-choice as well. But now? He's so far right wing he makes McCarthy look like a communist. He was a lobbyist for a long time and that's going to become an image problem for him with a lot of people. But I think he'll end up being the nominee in the end, the Republicans are too unhappy with the field they have now.

I didn't mind reading it... it's interesting. Joe Biden is an idiot, he always says stupid crap. That's why no one would vote for him as President. And it didn't matter who was Barak Obama's VP because they only voted for Obama. Plus, VP's do very little things Break Tie In Senate Go To Meetings And Do Whatever Else The President Tells Them To Maybe a few other things at most. But honestly VPs are just jokes MOST of the time. Biden is a joke...

Well maybe a joke, but no one is laughing. She wins the nomination and it is good for the Republicans because they will get the house and senate back and quite possibly the Presidency too and with the current view of the republicans it would be the greatest gift of all. I don't like our chances if they put up anybody else. But hey. Don't wait, until it's too late, Vote Hillary 08!

Thanks for your opinion, and while I'm not fan of Hillary, I have the occasional chuckle at the thought of Fred Thompson running for office.
Wow, you mean people like you would move to Canada if Hillary wins? Maybe I'll reconsider my opinion of her!
Thanks for asking!

Yes, and this is coming from a liberal.
I'm just hoping the hard-liners figure out that she won't win an election before it comes to the nomination.
She's the only liberal that could lose this time around.

I couldn't agree with you more! But if you study Edwards closer, you'll see that he falls right into the same fold as the rest of them.

So far. Don't worry though- they have more than enough time left to alienate most voters.
