I got a female friend who has a really hairy lip. She always talks about how hairy it is and how it is socially awkward for her.
The other day was her birthday and I got her a Gillette Fusion and she got really upset. Whats with the 'tude?

i think, if she's b*tching about it all the time, she needs to do something about it, and she should have taken your gift as at least a joke, and laughed about it. she doesn't mind telling you about her hairy lip so she shouldn't be so upset when you do something about it. and yes she can use that to shave her lip.

A woman may tell you she has a hairy lip, but that doesn't mean that she wants you to do anything about it. She just wants someone to listen to her.
At that point, you handing her the razor went over about as well as it would have if she never mentioned it to you--like some sort of insult.
...as a side note, kissing a woman who shaves her upper lip is not sexy.

Well first of all, girls dont usually shave their lips with a razor the way men do, so she would probabaly be better off using Nair or waxing it. So maybe you should've given her advice and a present that DIDNT highlight her lip for her birthday. That must have been really embarassing for her.

If a girl shave that hair in her lip called it whatever it is a moustache maybe, it will only grow back much longer, thicker and rougher.
She have to go to see a dermatologist or any specialize doctor on hair on how to remove unwanted hair permanently

She probably expected something else. She felt offended. Maybe getting her a spa package that included a lip wax would've been better. Also if other people were there it brings more attention to the matter.

She may say things about her upper lip, but it isn't up to you to do anything about it. Sometimes men can be very insensitive and you sound like one of those men! Your gift was a very bad choice. Women want jewelry for their birthdays not razors!!!!!!!! I suggest that you apologize for insulting her.

are you stupid? why would you do that. it just says "the hair on your face is ugly so get rid of it" i can see why shed be mad. if its so akward for her, she should just maybe get it waxed. or something.
