It's because we don't depend on the govt to take care of us,we know what personal responsibility is.Another factor is we don't feel we are above the law,we don't look down our noses at people and WE ARE THE MOST GENEROUS OF MONEY AND TIME than the liberals.
It seems the liberals favorite pass time is to hate conservatives,and hate republicans.What a sad and miserable life that must be.

Having been liberal minded, I can answer with some authority.
I was miserable because the world that I envisioned was NOT real, and some part of my sub-conscience kept telling me that my ideal world would never exist, could never exist. Meanwhile, I struggled to make the world fair . . . (fair according to what I was taught was fair). And then there's the fiction that we should all be happy, that we are entitled to happiness . . . FALSE.
It is not fun fighting a losing battle.
I am happy now. Because I now fight the battle of right and wrong, based on more than just my feelings on a given matter. I recognize that happiness is something I must achieve for myself. I also understand that happiness is not a constant state, but a preponderance of happy times over unhappy times.

Because they listen to the main stream media, which is telling them all about how horrible their lives are, and how bad the condition of the world has gotten. When all you hear about is how we'll never win in Iraq, and North Korea is going to nuke us, while Hugo Chavez starts a guerilla war against us, and with global warming, all of our beaches will be gone in a decade, while all of our cute little animal friends will be extinct... You get the picture, right?
Republicans tend to be a little more optimistic, preferring to hear the good stories out there.

Because they're simply wrong politically and they have to expend so much energy trying to convince people that they're right and that their outright lies are true. And they're cynical, always looking for the worst in people, because that's what was instilled into them over time.
That and the fact that many of them don't believe in God, so they're searching for happiness in a source where it doesn't exist and it is never enough. Plus they're very negative and that is the worst kind of energy to have.
To those libs who shun this survey, the questioner actually has facts to back up his case, that aren't politically based or biased. A shocker to some of you I know. Where are your facts without the childish rants we've come to know from you?

My fiance is a very happy Socialist. She is one of maybe 50 people I know who is of a very liberal type that is happy, but registered Republican just so they can influence the Republican primaries. Wonder how many others fit that?
Also note that liberals tend to think of others and try to solve other people's problems. Republicans are more inwardly focused-thus easier to please. If you want a big house, extra cash, and a war to divert your attention youre easier to make happy than if you want everyone in your state to have a good education and for no one to be starving.

I have noted taht here on YA that all the posts that state hate is by a lib. The hate GB, they hate the war, they hate everything that moves. People of sound mind might dislike what other do but they don't have to hate them all
