I love talk radio. I've noticed liberals on here say CNN etc aren't biased. To conservative that is laughable. They only think that because they agree with most of what the media says. I suffered for years listening to an increasingly biased media.
Then along came Rush. I couldn't believe it. Finally someone who verbalized my point of view for a change. Now what do the libs want to do? Throw out the first amendment and silence talk radio. LOL

maximum rap artists come from hoods that are infested with drugs, homicide, and snitching. they are speakin from there lifestyles reviews. Reporting what they see firsthand. in case you're no longer from those aspects u does not comprehend. those artists thank God because of the fact they are satisfied to have escaped that atmoshere. and not all rappers talk approximately homicide, drugs, etc. as quickly as I study a number of those responses on your question, I had to snicker. Rappers are Unintelligent? Wow. sometime %. up an Outkast, Nas, Immortal technique, Lupe Fiasco, Kanye, or Roots cd. and hear the lyrics. Google those names if u dont be attentive to who they are.

The problem with talk radio, as highlighted in your link to newsmax, is that they think they are always right and they think they run the country. You are not always right, you are not always well informed, and you don't run the country because you don't represent the feeling of most of the country. Many people listen to talk radio, and the numbers are there to prove that. But many listen because it's better than listening to the top 40 on FM over and over and over. There is no any evidence that I am aware of that makes any connection between what a talk show host says and what his/her listeners think. Call screeners control the flow of callers and who gets on and who doesn't, so to draw any conclusion from the opinions of the callers that get on-the-air to the opinion of the host is not correct...in my opinion.

I turn on talk radio about once every six months. It still sounds exactly the same as the last time I tuned in. It's OK with me if people want to listen to the same rants over and over again. I don't understand it, but go for it.

Yes I enjoy listening to some of them.. The thing that gets me is the news that the Media doesnt cover that the talk radio brings up, and if you search the source you find amazing news that gets swept under the rug.

Lou Dobbs is the point-man on opposing this immigration debacle. Thanks Lou.
He set up town hall meetings and keeps this issue in the light of day, versus the dark halls of the House, Senate, and White House.

Talk radio rules. It is one of the few media outlets that still gives a voice to everyday conservative Americans exposing the LA and NY liberals scrambling around in their news rooms trying to wack conservatives and advocate our defeat in war.

Its a good thing we have talk radio! My issue is why the current laws are not in effect and who is responsible for inforcement. We are a land of laws. If I break them I suffer the consequences. Why is this any different?

What ever blows your skirt up ...there bunky. Talk radio is extremist rhetoric refereed by radio wrestlers. It is a form of entertainment and not really meant for thoughtful consumption.
