In my travels through the Universe, I understand that my own studies of Physics is observations and questioning how it is to be and how it happened..the discovery of the physical world from the smallest organic compound to the Multiverse and everything in-between. What puzzles me the most is discerning the behavior of Earthlings?

Well, it is not phisics but is spelt as physics and means the study of physical objects around you. Includes study of their mass, density, surface texture, strength, electical resistance etc. Most of the engineering is applied physics.

Maths, Physics, Chemistry and Biology make up the main sciences.

PHYSICS is a very nebulous, catch all science.

Any natural science that does not fall under the broad classifications of:

Mathematics,
Biology,
Chemistry or
Earth Science

is, by default, considered to fall under the category of physics.

Personally, I always thought that Astronomy should be classified as "Earth Science -- extended."
