hey. my question in my algrebra homework is:
-8x+(-10y)-7x-15y
(simplify)
i know its not that hard of a question but i dont get algrebra so if someone could give me the answer and show the steps, that would be great !

-8x+(-10y)-7x-15y = -8x - 10y - 7x -15y
= -15x - 25y
= -5( 3x + 5y)

-8x - 10y - 7x - 15y
combine like terms
-15x -25y
take a -5 out
-5(3x + 5y)

-8x -10y -7x -15y = -15x -25y =5(-3x -5y) this is the answer

-15x-25y.
You add like terms. -8x and -7x= -15x
-10y and -15y= -25y
And that's how you get -15x-25y.
You can't do anything else with it....
