I have Norton Internet Security 2003 on my xp. Is it still safe and suffient to continue using it? I am thinking about renewing it and want to know if I will still get the most up to date definitions etc. It still seems to work ok for me.. Does anyone else still use NIS 2003 and are you satisfied with it? please no talk of free programs THANKS!!

I don't think it's supported anymore. I believe, could be wrong, I was running that version. When I went to renew Symantec forced me to upgrade to a newer version (2007) . The price was the same as a renewal.

I'd recommend looking for something other than Symantec, McAfee or Zone Alarms. Try f-secure or one of the other A/V applications that can locate and remove rootkits.

I'm using NIS 2002. It continues to work well for me. But I keep it updated.
