If you have both a PCI and AGP card slots you can have them both installed, and hell, if you have 3 or 4 pci slots then you can have 3 or 4 video cards too.

agp wont fit into the pci slots

install the AGP card. turn on the pc and go into the BIOS,
select the AGP to be the main viseo card.
then install the extra video cards.

all this would achieve is to add extra monitors (up to 10)

you cant run them together or anything and they will work completely independent of each other.

just to clarify...an AGP video card will not fit in a PCI slot. So no, it can't really replace it. Now if you are using a PCI vid card and have an AGP slot and want to replace it that way, then sure, you can do that.

They can't be installed at the same time, it will give you nothing but grief. If you want 2 video cards, do a search on SLI.
