If your kids are grown and on their own, it's time to fly! Go enjoy yourself, you've earned it.

Oh to answer this one!!!! LOL.. I can understand where you're at. I think once the kids are of legal age or out on their own and don't rely on mom for everything in life then its OK for mom to seek enjoyment in her life. So I say GO FOR IT....and enjoy life. We, Mothers, spend way too much time worrying about whether or not our kids are ready for us to become our own person again and not just someones wife or mother. Good Luck...Hope this helps.

If you have no ties to your current location (no spouse, kids are old enough, etc.), then I say fly and be free. I am going through an unexpected divorce and I am looking forward to taking some trips that I have always wanted to take (Peru, Spain).

Well I am sure your kids will understand, its not like you are abandoning them. Perhaps they may be inspired by your independance and really work towards financial security so they may have that kind of life themselves. As long as they know they can come and visit you while you are travelling why not? Maybe they will move with you. Why not.

Move have some fun, your only as old as you feel. Explain to your children that you need to have some time to yourself, they should understand. I bet you they would be happy for you. You only live life once, so get out there and enjoy it to the fullest.

You are an adult and if you no longer have children living in your home (or if they do but don't necessarily need you) then I say "Go for it sister!". Go explore the world, travel, live! Don't delay, we never know how much time we have left on this earth. Good luck and God Bless.

Of course it's ok. You brought your kids up, and the greatest gift you can give them is wings to let them fly, it's also the greatest gift you owe yourself. Go for it.

I would but always be available if they had an emergency or needed you. You need to keep in touch with them, if not then that wouldn't be good.
