I'd guess that you're struggling with something and feel the need to try helping someone but are afraid that it'll be fruitless or that you'll be the one blamed for the results. But, here's what www.dreammoods.com says:
Dungeon

To dream that you are in a dungeon, signifies that through some struggle and your wisdom, you will be able to overcome and surmount the obstacles in your life.
Sword

To dream that you are wielding a sword, represents your ambition, competitive nature decisiveness and will power.. You seek to hold a position of prestige, authority, and distinction. Alternatively, the sword can be seen as a phallic symbol and thus represent masculine power.

You're not wielding a sword, but getting stabbed by one, so perhaps you're afraid that there is someone that you view that is not helping the person you feel needs help (in your real life) but actually perhaps leading that person down the "wrong path" will be the one that person turns to. I hope this isn't confusing. :)

One of the reasons that people have nightmares is because they are stressed or something bad has happened around that time and it all comes out during sleep. Problems at school, stress from sports, or even schoolwork can cause nightmares.

To prevent nightmares.....Get into a healthy sleep routine. Try to go to bed about the same time and wake up at the same time every day. Unless you're sick or didn't get enough sleep the night before, avoid naps during the day. Avoid eating or exercising just before bedtime. Avoid scary books or movies before bedtime if you think they might be causing your nightmares.

Sleep with a stuffed toy or favorite blanket. This helps some kids feel more secure.

Use a nightlight. Even if you gave up yours up years ago, you might want to turn it back on. With a nightlight, if you awake from a nightmare, you'll be able to see familiar things and remember where you are.

Keep your door open. This will help you remember that your family is close by. If you are scared, get up and find someone for reassurance. You're never too old for a hug!

If the nightmares get really bad you might want to consider talking to your parents about taaking you to talk with a counselor or a psychiatrist.

There are so many things you did not put in. Is either of the others another form of you. Are you trying to kill yourself in the nightmare and at the same time trying to save self. Another is the person you are trying to save, in real time, someone trying to steal them away. Is the stabbing through the heart, pain of losing someone.

Nightmares are some times a way that your body or mind speeks to you. It is trying to send you a message or something of that nature. Its either that or you were watching a very scarey movie
