Even 15 minutes would be helpful. What about late check-ins, or phone-in check-ins?

You can't actually get an early check in, guarenteed. The best thing to do is go to your resort when you arrive and check in. They may or may not have a room available for you when you arrive. If they can get you a room, they will do their best to find it, then you can go to room, put your stuff away, etc. If not, you can leave your luggage at the front desk, they will give you your passes (if you have a package) and you are ready to go. When you get back, they will have your room ready.

There is no way to be sure that you will get a room when you arrive, it will especially depend on when you are going. If you are going during a busy season (which can be just about any date anymore) then it may be harder for you to get a room that is ready. However, the best thing to do is be really flexible. If you originally had several requests that you wanted for your room then tell them you are willing to try for any room that is available, otherwise they will try to get you a room with your requests, which could result in you not getting a room early. They will let you know where the room is, so if you don't like the room they give you, you can always wait.

As for late check in, you should call and put a note on your reservation that you will be arriving late. (If you are using a travel agent they can take care of all this for you) If you don't let them know you are coming late they may cancel your reservation. Even after you have noted it on your reservation, I still would call in on check in day and let them know again that you will be arriving late. Sometimes when the reservations are transferred from Disney's call center system to the hotel system some of the notes can get lost, so it is best to be sure they get them.

Have a great time!

No, check in is at 3:00pm or later. However, you can leave your bags with a Disney Cast Member at your hotel and when 3pm rolls around, your bags will automatically be taken to your room so you can leave to play at the parks, etc... however, if you are on the Disney Dining Plan, you will not be able to use your plan until you have officially checked in.
Check out is at 11am and they will hold bags again if you would like to play on your departure day before leaving the resort!

Yes, you can arrive as early as you need to, if you are lucky there will be a clean room ready, but in often cases there will not be a room clean and ready so they will still swipe your card and give you your room keys known as your "Key to the World" but you will not get your room number until its ready. They will give you a small card with a phone number to call to see if your room is ready or you can stop by the front desk later in the day.

You might be able to. Check i is supposed to be at 3:00 but they release the room when they are clean, so whenever your room is released yo can check in.

You can get teh phone number for teh front desk by going to www.waltdisneyworld.com and clicking on your resort

We usually arrive before noon. So we check in, even though usually our room isn't ready. We take either a change of clothes or even our swimsuits and change when we get there, and go for a swim, or spend some time in the park.

They will try to accomodate you if they can, but they won't guarantee anything. Hotels will stash your luggage for you if you can't get into your room, though. Call the resort directly about your situation, and they will try to help if they can.

Not that I am aware of, but you can store your luggage and go to the parks and check in upon your return.
