The recent deaths of wrestlers, while VERY sad.. makes me wonder, just how stressful is pro wrestling? These guys work for 10-15 minutes a night, get paid $500,000 year salaries.. travel first class... I mean, are you serious? I'd LOVE to be a pro rassler

It does make you wonder...money, fame...two things that most people would love to have...and he throws it away, if that turns out to be the case...

Their bodies take a huge toll almost two hundred days a year, and yet they have to keep their bodies in tip top shape or else there's a good chance that they'll lose their spot or even their job. There's no off-season in pro wrestling, and there's much more physical exertion than many of the real sports out there. Plus, they rarely have the opportunity to see their families. And not only that, but only a few wrestlers ever have the chance to make it full time - most spend their whole career wrestling in high school gyms in the indies.

It's a very stressful job.

It is very stressful.
You are on the road night after night-away from your family. You have to compete with injuries - thus alot of wrestlers get hooked on various pain killers to help them get through the next match. There is no "off season" as with baseball or football. Even though its what some would call fake - the lifestyle behind it is very rough indeed.

It can be stressfull to be a Pro Wrestler if you have the phsyical stamina & the menatlity to perform almost every night & be on the road for over 200 days out of the year. I wouldn't recommend it if you really want to try it out for yourself.

imagine being away from your family and friends for 200 days out of the year, missing your kid's first word, or the first time your baby took their steps or their 1st birthday. Not easy. It doesn't matter how much money they get, when they are not with their families to enjoy the little things.

Fame and Money is not a guarantee of happiness.
