There maybe a proof, because when we see meteors, It falls in one direction. But astronomers found out that 50% of what they have observed in the sky are meteors that falls in one direction and the rest objects move "independently"... I have watched this on Discovery Channel.
There maybe a lifeform outside the solar system and that can be possible.

People believe for a lot of different reasons. For me it comes down to two reasons:
1. Space is HUGE. It's so huge that I don't think the human mind can really begin to understand. Let me try to put it in perspective: Our galaxy has more stars than every single grain of sand on every beach on the face of the earth. That's a lot. NOW, our galaxy is just one among TRILLIONS, each one has of billions and trillions of stars of their own. So are you saying that in ALL OF THAT there can't possibly be any other civilizations besides our own??? It's statistically impossible, especially now that we're starting to discover other worlds, including more earth-like ones.
2. The absence of evidence is not the evidence of absence. Just because we haven't found anything YET doesn't mean that we won't. There may even be some who are aware of us already and just don't want to be bothered. We just don't know. But having no proof so far is no reason not to find out.

"UFO" simply means "unidentified flying object". It does not mean that those flying objects have extraterrestial origins. There ARE some "UFOs", but they might only be unidentified to the general public. The Stealth bomber's 3/4 profile looks VERY much like a flying saucer, and it was flown as a classified aircraft for ten years. There were probably a lot of UFO reports on them.

the government has been experimenting with aliens and UFO's for years. believe me there is other life out there. Most people are not ready for this type of information and will reject it or dismiss it as fakery. they can't handle it. of course we are not alone : cause most people are arrogant, and never want to admit that there could be something bigger then them, sad really. you have to be pretty stupid and narrow-minded to think we are the only form of life in our whole UNIVERSE.

The belief in extraterrestrial intelligence capable of intersteller travel is a religion, promulgated by scientists, who encourage the faithful and uncertain to believe that the uniqueness of Earth is a misunderstanding - that there are so many uncharted systems in the universe that it is "unreasonable" to believe that we ARE alone.
Humans do not want to believe they are alone in the Universe. If the belief in God doesn't soothe, perhaps the belief in ET will, and so people believe what they will. There is absolutely zero proof for ETs - just as there is absolutely zero proof for God - but SETI is "science" and seeking God is "religion."
OK....

I think people just keep hoping that one day, they will be the one to prove everyone else wrong. I totally agree with you!

Why do people continue to beleive in god although there is no proof? Why do we keep having to debunk moon landing conspiracy theories?
