Your body is a wonderful thing and one of it's best qualities is to do things on it's own at the right times.. As for taking Asprin to make your uterus's lining right for implantation.. this is not true. The only thing it will do is make your blood thin that is because your uterus builds up the lining over the weeks between your periods and when you conceive it is just the right amount and firmness to allow the blastocyst to implant well, not to firm so it's difficult to implant and not to soft that it may cause a bad implantation. Progesterone is normally taken after you have become pregnant for the reason that if taken before it will interfere with your ovulations, that is it will cause you NOT to ovulate and which means no egg = no pregnancy. Your OBGYN will let you know when is the best time to start on your supplements. Keep in mind that Progesterone is only going to help you keep your next pregnancy going if the reason for your miscarriage was due to low Progesterone levels.. Your OBGYN should have done tests when you miscarried and will probably want to do more tests before you get pregnant. That way they can know what caused the miscarriage and how to prevent it in the future. It's still a good idea to cut back on the caffeine though, especially if you are trying to conceive again. Keep up with your Prenatal vitamins too.. Good luck!

So sorry to hear you've suffered a m/c. I had IUI treatment last week and was prescribed progesterone pessaries to use twice daily until I can do a test then if I'm pregnant to continue taking them until 14 weeks. They can help to prevent m/c but only if low progesterone levels are the problem. With regard to aspirin I was told not to take them as they thin the blood. Good luck :)

Sorry to hear about your m/c. Stay on the prenatals - not sure what the aspirin is for? - I've heard of taking guafesin to thin out vaginal mucus which is supposed to help the sperm reach their ultimate goal, but aspirin? hmmm...
Anyway - progesterone won't help before you've conceived. You should really talk to your GYN about this - there can be minor side effects for the baby if you take progesterone.
If you are into it - acupuncture can be a great help if you are having trouble conceiving but aren't ready to see a fertility specialist. Try to find one that has some experience with infertility - they can be great and very helpful pre- and post - conception.

Good Luck!

if you're taking aspirin to thin your blood and make implantation easier, it's a little too drastic a measure. There are many more natural ways to thin your blood just a little without putting chemicals in. Drink some green tea, avoid vitimin K rich foods ( oils, dark greens)

but unless you have a clotting issue, your body is really quite capable of implantation on it's own, and thinning your blood will cause more problems then it will solve.

go talk to your doctor, he'll know the best way to keep you healthy!

I've heard of the aspirin studies and I don't see how it could hurt.
