He knew it was coming, yet he was with you 'til it happened. A homophobic straight male would not have been your friend. he probably is also gay, and in denial. Having gone into the act, he is confused. He couldn't deny the pleasure, and yet he would not want to be seen enjoying it.

That S-O-B. he is in the closet. He may say he's straight but he is so not even close. I have this thing for gay guys and i started to date a bi one and he left me for another guy. The guy that left you will be back. Once you walk on the wild side babe you don't turn back. Hmm, I think you just freaked him out a bit, or got him thinking about his own orientation. I'd say just call him up like nothing happened and invite him out to grab a beer or something, then ask him later on if something is wrong. Reassure him that everything is alright, or perhaps get to the root of his situation.
