Some parts of our car got stollen and two officers go the guy with the stuff in his jacket... doing the papers and everything to get the guy in jail has been too long. The guy is just a 22 year old street guy that was going to make $10 out of what he stole, guess for drugs or something. Is it worth bringing him to justice?

Whats up? It seems to me that you took the time to ask this question,so you must have thought about this for awhile.The question is will putting this kid in jail satisfy you and society.He possibly was stealing for drugs or alcohol,and if he is an addict then he needs that fix.I personally would drop the charges and let him go about his life.Have the court or prosecutor tell him to seek help for his addiction if that is the case.This kid is probably a decent person making bad choices.Give him a second chance,sometimes we all do stupid things and need a break.Take care.Look into your heart.

Yes. Look what happened to Paris Hilton.... Hope that serves her right. Now as for the street hoodlum that stole car parts from you.... YES, YES, YES, prosecute him.... He may even thank you ten years from now because this may have him UNDERSTAND the word HONESTY before it is too late and he goes on perpetrating a BIGGER crime... no!i wouldn't!if he has a drug problem...he is sick!and sick people do drastic things!even if you do sue him,he's just going to go around and do it again!
feel sorry for him and show compassion,you just don't know what kind of a life he has!
