Yup. I'm a teacher and I tend to give more than I take.
Sometimes I stop and think: 'Have I given away too much of my precious personal energy?' but then I realize that giving is what makes me happy. I carry on.

I think it is - I try to put other people's happiness before mine. But I'm at a point in my life that I want happiness too!

Yes, but I usually find that the happiness of others (those that I care for and love) usually translates into my own happiness.

Yeah, I'd say so. The truth is, I am happy when those around me are happy so, it's all relative.

I think everyone is. If you see someone upset you'll try and make them feel better but when your upset the thing that upset you is all you can think of and usually it takes somebody else to take your mind off it and make you feel better.

Definitely........ they always come first. But you know what? I kinda think that is where I get my happiness from. If I know I can make them happy....... it all comes back around again. You know?

a whole lot better. seems kind of unfair now that i think about it. i do feel better though helping people out so i guess it all balances in the end.
