I was sitting at an intersection, waiting to turn, when a little girl (Maybe 7 or 8), ran up to the road, yanked up her dress and started doing... some very adult things to herself. Everything was in full view. She was waving her hips around and yelling at cars. She and the other girl that was there weren't laughing, so it didn't look to me like it was a joke. I picked up the phone and called 911. I drove past later and saw police talking to some adults standing with the little girl. After all, if I thought she was a prostitute, who else would've? Does anyone think I shouldn't have? I feel sort of bad for her, if she was just joking around. Would you have called?

That is highly unusual behavior for a child. Its very probable she is being sexually abused and that is great that you called the police. They will get ahold of the necessary authorities and they hopefully will look into why this child is doing such a thing. With all the children kidnapped and murdered by sickos you did the right thing and you should be very proud of yourself. Good for you.

Rest assured you did the right thing. I doubt she was a prostitute in the street hooker sense. Though I have seen piece of sh1t drug addicts and other worthless trash who will sell their kids out for sex at ages even younger than 8.
Obviously there is a problem there. You did right.

That's odd. I think you did the right thing. If there was no problem then no harm done. However, I think there is a bigger problem here that has to do with the parents. Something bad must be going on at home for them to learn this. Maybe it served as a wakeup call.

I don't know if I would have. However, I think that it's good that you did. Maybe there's a serious psychological problem there, and just maybe the parents will now realize it and get that child some help.

Very strange, but probably a reasonable course of action. I strongly doubt that she was trying to solicit people that way; more likely she was disturbed in some manner or potentially abused....

I think you did the right thing. Even though she was doing it of her own accord, she could have been hurt by someone who was watching her, even raped or abducted. I hope the cops talked to her parents and got the kid into some kind of counseling... and her lousy parents, too.

Good for you for calling...something was obviously wrong with the girl..maybe she will get some help for her problem before it's too late.

Probably. That is gross. How long before she would have gotten hit by a car. You did the right thing.
