How many weeks ago was it that we were told it was going to be the hottest and driest summer on record?

yes there bloody useless jackie they are only following a trend we had 10 better than avarage summers with last year being the best and the twats just thought we were due 4 another good one i still reckon we will have something half descent during july and aug although its only going to last a few days at a time then thundery break downs here we are darlin thats a proper forecast 4 you not speculation enjoy the bits and pieces of summer during july an aug

I agree with pirate_princess, and that this wet, cool weather could be attributed to global warming. There seems to have been alot of crazy weather around in recent years, and the terrible floods are just another example of how global warming could be happening right now.

I guess they got the weather wrong. They should have warned people about the flooding instead of telling us lies about the heatwave that was supposed to come.

lol, yes i forgot about that.
i just got back from town, all the drains are full and waters coming down the street! my lake's getting a little high too, they say we have a few days left of bad rainy weather, but like you say....you can't believe what they say.

'Global Warming' doesn't just mean it's gonna get warmer and drier. Expect more erratic weather to come!!
