They have not confirmed he actually killed anyone. Whomever did it made it look that way. Someone else still may have done it.
If he did do it, though, I'm sure it was because he was under so much stress traveling all the time away from his family. His wife may have just pushed his buttons telling him he couldn't go this time and he just snapped.

He didn't had a daughter. He had a 7 year old son. I'm not sure what make him to do that.

If that is in fact the case, there could be many reasons from mental illness to uncontrollable anger to drugs.
Don't worry-I'm sure the media will beat us over the head with this...everyone will have many theories to chose from.
