This is so true. I am sure they feel that someone might be offended if they see our flag proudly displayed.
AND WHEN WILL LIBS UNDERSTAND.... it is the leaders of your party and your media that set the tone. Of course no one is going to go around and poll every liberal. Don't be so foolish. When you speak in generalities you are speaking of the group collectively, not every individual. Look, congratulations if you don't follow your leaders sentiment about the flag or you don't feel that burning it is an appropriate protest. Those are either steps away from socialism or steps you've not yet taken... good for you!
I also find Debra's comments funny... she rants about you making a sweeping statement about libs, then she does the same thing to conservatives by saying they suddenly wrap themselves in the flag and remember they are American to get something free from the government..... LMAO!!!
Maybe she does not realize it is HER party with all the little social programs and they want socialized medicine and so on!!!
It would be hilarious if it wasn't so sad.

in case you study the story you will see this line "or face eviction by way of a enterprise coverage that bans the show of flags, banners and political or non secular aspects." meaning it could have been any flag or banner and that they could have been required to eliminate it. in case you progression into an condominium development that doesn't enable dogs could they make an exception if the dogs is painted with the celebs and stripes? that's enormously lots what got here approximately right here. it is unhappy whilst human beings use the yankee Flag to break regulations and then get help from human beings such as you because of the fact it is the yankee Flag.

Janeane Garofalo once said that her heart swelled-up with pride whenever she saw other Americans - preferably homosexual Americans - burning the US flag. And many of us would have liked nothing better than to kick her teeth down her throat. However, it was because of the brave and unselfish actions of millions of men and women that this d*ck head is free to spew her hatred for America. So we can't have it both ways. Sure, someone like Garofalo is a complete d*ck, but her stupidity inadvertently proves the point that the freedom these men and women sacrificed their lives for, was in fact, a complete success. Every time she opens her stink-hole to vomit out more insanity, she's simply solidifying the true greatness that the US Flag represents to all freedom loving Americans.

Well, Post-9/11, I don't see why. Sometimes I am ashamed of this country. I can honestly say that. With a president that has a mind of a child, it really isn't that hard. His politics just don't work! Congress needs to impeach. But back to this country. This country has given to me, and it has taken from me. It has given me a good, fortunate life. It has taken my ancestors in Indian removal, some opportunities, and unnecessary tax dollars for an unnecessary war, which has taken too many lives. In that case, the American flag is a bittersweet thing to me.

I'm a liberal and I love the American flag. I love my country. Wat I don't love is the use of the American flag by right winged conservative a**holes who wave it and talk about freedom but what they really mean by freedom is: no gays, no immigration, no religion outside of Christianity, certainly no Atheism, and definitely no equal rights for women (ie no abortion) in the United States of America.
I would NEVER burn my flag. Even though I have the right to. I am not an anti-American. I am anti-War on Terror. And I am fiercely ant-Bush. And I am a little bit anti-Dead Marxist. I don't think you're my kind of people.
I am also the wife of an officer in the United States Navy. I do my part to support our military every single day. I support other wives. I support children of military members. And I support our troops - I support bringing them home.

It's not the proper display of the flag that bothers liberals - it's the blatant mis-use and over-use of the flag as a label for self aggrandizement.
Sounds like that is what you intend since many, many people display a flag with no complaints from anyone.

I'm liberal in my social politics and I love the sight of Old Glory. Maybe it is a comment on some of the people who waive the flag in support of causes and positions with which they fundamentally disagree.

This is just plain stupid! Have you interviewed all Liberals to come to this sweeping statement.
This is like asking why all cons want to have two wives.
Don't be ridiculous.... I know of not one Liberal who does not love the flag!
And I think when they say " flag waver" they mean the suddenly patriotic and wrapped in a flag cons who remember they are American when they want to be elected or get something for nothing from the government.

We are proud to hang our flag outside our house, and we are proud to be Flag wavers.
Does that mean that we always agree with whatever administration is in office? Of course not, but we are proud to be Americans.
