My heart has been lying to me lately so I don't know if I should trust it, but it does miss a few special people. That won't ever change.

My Grandmother. She died 43 years ago. I was 8 months pregnant with my second child at the time and living over a thousand miles away. My doctor would not allow me to travel to her bedside or to her funeral. I loved her very much and never got to say goodbye. I have missed her every day since then. But, I have had a happy life, partly because of things she taught me. I did name the baby after her to keep a tiny part of her alive.

The pacific northwest. I lived there the first 14 years of my life. Moved to florida 2 years ago. But luckily, I'm moving back next month! That's right! I consider the northwest a person!

The girl I loved and lost to cancer 2 years ago. Funny how it is the heart that aches, but the rest of me suffers a tangible physical pain as well. Yet, I would not trade that experience for all of the painless moments on earth.

My heart always misses a certain someone. Even though he and I talk every day, I want him in my real life and dream about the day that will happen!
