If he went through a physician, and donated anonymously, then NO. His own acts would likely be viewed by the court as a waiver.

If you are pg by some guy and don't want to tell him--yes, he has rights and could go to court once he finds out. If you go thru a fertility clinic and are inseminated then no, these donors have been paid for sperm and have no rights. Same with a woman that gets paid to donate eggs.

No, for artificial insemination, a male must sign a statement saying he wishes to be the father of the child. Of course if it is a sperm bank wherein the people are anonymous, there is no right to the benefits or detriments parenthood. I'm not sure the cicumstances under which there would be no papers signed...

How did he donate sperm without signing a release? Was he unconscious? Then he would have rights, I think, but I bet it would take a long court battle.
