Because we are all NOT in depression. I had the exact same feeling when I was in mild depression from the death of my beloved father.

Sometimes we need time out to consider what we want from life. When we're busy - particularly with a job - we don't have time to think. That's when some of us may realise that we have given ourselves to a relationship or career path that may not have been worthwhile after all.
People seem to have a need to rush around and be busy busy busy all of the time. They think that by filling up their daily lives with activity they are leading a full life.

IMHO life has no purpose. We started off as Primordial Soup and ended up the way we are-born to reproduce and continue on the human race for that is what we living creatures do. I believe the best option is to exterminate the human race. All of the bad people outweigh the good.

There are people busy doing nothing in life but on the other hand the purpose why people are busy because they have to work for life's sustainance. St. Paul says, "He who does not work should not eat. We keep ourselves busy in view of a higher value, to give greater glory to God, to support others, to sustain one's life, and to contribute in building God's kingdom here on earth.

We are all here for 1 thing = procreation.
Anything else is either a 'lead up to' or the 'come down from'.
The rest is just infill between the times we are not in bed. Not being smutty, its the truth.

what is your true concern? we all have purpose in life, it's up to you to know what your purpose is. if your busy, give yourself a break and reflect on things that is important to you and why. do this everyday, and you'll be amaze of what you'll find out.
