To tell you the truth, I had about the same amount of confidence when I didn't wear makeup but I started to realize I didn't have too many friends and not too many guys seemed as attracted to me as they were with the other girls.
So I one day jsut decided to put on makeup and look nice, and I started to all of a sudden have all these people trying to talk to me and become friends and more guys became attracted to me....
And I don't even cake on makeup...
So I guess it just brought out some of the good things on me and dimmed some flaws?
My confidence has probably gone up a bit since I've worn makeup...but yeh....
People are just so judgemental and picky these days.

If all the girls in the world stopped wearing anything on their face for a day, by the end of it, you would be seriously turned off. Some girls do wear too much makeup, yeah, but others go for a natural look.

Make-up is pretty much a beauty enhancer. It adds color to your features in turn helping them more visible & noticeable. Also, covers up areas in which us ladies want to make less visible such as a pimple for example. Personally, I love the way my face looks w/ makeup on & it helps boost my self esteem. It's just like when men wear that great smelling cologne, new sneakers, or even a new car....It just feels good to have...and yes ofcourse in moderation....there is a such thing as too much!!

I will tell you why I DON'T- because my Grandma is 80 years old and has never worn makeup- she has the most youthful, beautiful skin. I like to think that at my age (27) I am already following in her footsteps.

to even out skin tone, enhance color in cheeks, lengthen and intensify color of lashes, put shine in lips. All to catch the eye of a man! And most men claim to not like all the stuff we go through! so really its just a competition between us ladies and what we "think" is going to be more attractive to a man

To avoid looking like a ghost on stage. Yup I only put make up for dance performances and I'm already 18. xD

i wear makeup because i feel my face looks dead without it..i dont have many features that look nice without the makeup..such as eyelashes because i have not got any.

I almost never do. just lip gloss.I like the natural look and so does my husband.most people wear it to try and look better but some go way overboard.

i'm sure people have varying reasons. for me, i feel others around me find it strange that a woman NEVER puts on makeup. other than that, sometimes to cover pimples/redness/etc. i try to spend as little time as possible on it though :)
