I'd meet for lunch somewhere, maybe do something at the amusement park if it wasn't sweltering hot--from Texas so sweltering happens a lot--and really as I'm a big kid at heart I'd have a blast playing skee-ball at Chuck E Cheese.

A day date can be a lot of fun..
You can go for a picnic..
Go to an outside patio and have lunch..
Go for a walk along a beach..or in a park...
Visit something, a museum, a zoo, anything that you fancy..
Take a bike ride, car ride somewhere together..
Take a Tour of something.. could be on a boat etc..
An outside Bistro can be very romantic and you can talk while you take in the view..
Actually there are many things to do..

Go walking on a nature trail, go to the beach, go to an amusement park, have a picnic...there are a lot of fun things you can do on a day date. It all depends on the girl. Find out what she likes so you can make plans.

Play putt-putt golf or go bowling. Perhaps taking in a musuem or the local zoo. Any type of activity that requires interacting with each other while also focusing on doing something or seeing something would be great. And followed by a late lunch or early dinner, of course!

A carnival, amusement park,zoo are all good suggestions. You don't want to choose something too intimate for a first date. These suggestions make for fun first dates.

I live in Sydney so, i'd like to go for a harbour bridge climb, walk around the Opera house & have a nice lunch by the water.

Take her for a nice picnic in the park. That way you all can have lunch and then go for a walk. It's can be very romantic but it can be very layed back and comfortable.

well the first date with my hubby, we went to the beach and walked around, he took me for lunch and ice cream. we sat on a rock and just talked. it was really nice and peaceful, we got to know eachother some more as well.
other things you can do:
- amusement park
- mueseums
- lunch and a movie
- go to a park and have as picnic
- the beach
- go for a drive

I'd like to go to some batting cages or an amusement park. I want something that is fun to do and gives me an oppurtunity to get to know the person. you can't do that at a movie really.
