Why does lenne look like yuna?

Okay I have never played Final fantasy but i watched a video that had Yuna singing and it also said that she was singing with another person and her name was Lenne. So while she was singing there was another girl singing with her so i assumed it was Lenne. Why do they look so alike?

Final Fantasy X-2 has a back-story about two characters from a thousand years in the past. Shuyin (the antagonist) and Lenne.

Shuyin's spirit possesses a couple of characters in the game, and Yuna's resemblence to Lenne is important to the story.
