I wonder if one of us ordinary joes killed our family if we would get a big tribute. He was a circus freak performer for the devils sake, not anyone important.

If Benoit did do this he obviously was mentally unstable (who knows, he could have been experiencing extreme depression). You have no idea what it is like to have a mental illness. Therefore you have no right to judge any person under those circumstances.
These two situations garner completely different attention. O.J. is probably to some extent a psychopath b/c he showed no remorse. If Chris did in fact do this, it would appear that he had a completely different mental illness, in which he did experience remorse and killed himself as well.
This is unbelievably shocking and tragic and I am truly unable to comprehend how I feel about this at the time.
To ask such a question as you have is insensitive and completely ridiculous.
Next time think before you ask!

The whole Benoit thing has me puzzled, but yet again, we only knew Chris as the "Wrestler Chris Benoit" not the real person he was.

No one knows what happened and even though they are investigating the situation, we may never know the true story, but one thing is for sure, any one who would kill a child is SICK!

The OJ deal had proof of certian things, just like the Chris Benoit situation. The difference- OJ is still here, everyone envolved in the Chris Benoit deal is dead so we may never know the true answers- One thing is for sure, If Chris Benoit killed his family and his self he will pay eternally.

Don't judge a book by it's cover!

I believe you are jumping the gun here. Its way too early to conclude anything one way or another.

And I'm not some rabid Benoit fan that thinks he is incapable of doing anything wrong. Benoit is human after all.

yes i did defend OJ. just as i am defending Chris. Why don´t you wrestling haters leave this section, like KOLO go back to the Men's Premiere Leagues (UK) section, no one wants you here

Benoit wasn't a loose canon like OJ. Something serious must have happened to make Benoit believe that was the only way out.

Not sticking up for what he did but he was still the best wrestler there was in the industry. Everyone is just dumb founded and wondering what happened. Beside O.J is still alive and making money on the fact that he got away with it!!!

Not defending either one. It sucks when people you look up to do stuff like this. It leaves you in denial (like these idiots who attack you for asking this).

Life don't make sense all the time.

ok people....let's be real.....in law you have to wait for all the facts........but common sense tell you that he killed his family then himself..... he was no small man and i doubt his wife could kill him....and the way they were found (come on!!!!!!)
Chirs Benoit is guilty!!!!

if he's not then i'm sorry....and i'll eat my words, but i doubt i'm wrong on this one. nobody just kills a famous person and his family for no known reason.

were you there to witness chris benoit killing his wife and son? Last I check, the authorities didn't announce who killed who. For all you know, his wife could have killed Chris , their son and then herself. The investigation is not over until the authorities say its over.
