I'd like to know why if Israel asks us to jump our government asks "how high"?
On the other hand, our govenment couldn't give a crap what Americans want.

Israel has nothing to do with what Americans want so who cares if they support the surge.
The polls in the USA say it all...the people do not support the Bush policy in Iraq anymore because it does not work and he doesn't give a damn about what Americans think.
If he did, he would have changed his policy on Iraq and so far he has not. If that doesn't tell you that he doesn't care about the will of the American people, nothing will.
By the way...it's not just Liberals anymore who feel this way. Many Republicans have come to realize it too!
If Bush is going by the will of the Israelis...then he should go over there and run for office.

Everybody in the government has there own political agenda, and it most often involves name calling and other things most of us leave behind in kindergarten. Congressmen and women are often "fair weather fans" of any President be they Democrat, Republican or Independent. When things are going well they praise the President and all of the en devours around that time (good or bad), and when things aren't going how they think is good they start blasting him and all he does (again either good or bad on the President's part). The Founding Fathers of our country are probably turning in their graves with all that's going on now. I'd like to see things happen like they did all those years ago, when people weren't pointing fingers at each other, but working on getting things done and fixing mistakes, regardless of the person who did it.

Bush has been running secret bombing missions in Pakistan and in Iran for six months now with the Black Water Mercs. It has been reported on NPR and on the Radio Free press several times now. I bet Israel loves that.
