I've heard that Eleanore Roosevelt was a very intelligent lady, but my favorite was Jacqueline Kennedy.

Both of those ladies were from a time when the first lady was respected and admired by the entire world.

Things started going way down hill fast with ms. nancy reagan, the lady that stole all those dresses from the designer, and the woman that ronnie reagan cheated on his first wife with, and ultimately was sued for divorce by the beautiful Jane Wyman.

Betty Ford was in and out of drug rehab so many times they finally named the clinic after her.

I would also say Eleanor Roosevelt would be a good candidate. She used her position to campaign for civil rights across the nation and was the first First Lady to hold her own press conferences, etc.

I agree, Hillary is the Wicked B**** of the East. I'd have to say that Betty Ford had to be one of the best.
