He can probably spell "Limbaugh" correctly, at least. Can you?

While anyone who reads my answers on Yahoo here knows I am no fan of Rush's I will give him his props, but only the ones he deserves, not the ones his Dittoheads think he deserves.

America is a very schizophrenic country. People being made ot jump back and forth, they keep having to switch alliances and sides on issues, and it gets to so confusing to the American people, we get so tired of trying to keep up with this ones opinions and that ones views, we just need someone we think we can trust to come in make SENSE of the whole damned mess we're in.

And in stumbles Rush Limbaugh, whose 15 minutes of fame are SO over, he has started looking more and more like a rotting corpse at a dinner party, starting to smell but no one wants to acknowledge his sheer effrontery of having begun to decompose during DINNAH.,, how GAUCHE.

Rush is a living testiment to two things in America.

"A Little Knowledge is a Dangerous Thing"
"The More Outrageous the Lie, The More People Will Believe It"

He was neve rmuch of a DJ in commercial, non talk radio, he was usually let go for overtalking the music too much. His one gig on TV, ESPN he was fired for saying some black quarterback was getting extra support because he was a BLACK quarterback and there were so few in the NFL, they were really holding this guy up as a poster child, kinda thing.

He wrote a book which was JUST long enough to read from the start of a flight from LA to its landing in Chicago, without losing the readers' attention. He started getting noticed nationally about the time Newt Gingrich was coming to prominence as well and Rush made a few cameo appearances on different sitcoms for awhile. He was conservative, but wasnt yet sociopathic about it. Once he WAS, the TV offers dried up pretty fast, but there was always radio to fall back on.

Does Rush have a high IQ? Does a cockroach, who can outrun your foot, have a high IQ? He has a survival IQ, changing his message for the highest bidder. He hit upon the fact, "Hates Sells" and he uses it to great advantage making himself and his corporate masters piles of money from ad revenues.

He only had one semester of college. That's part of the secret of his success in spinning. He didn't learn the principles educated people follow when they reason, so these do not limit his ability to tell complicated lies. There are all kinds of intelligence - Rush is genius at knowing his audience, and at getting the backing of influential Republicans who helped him get his show off the ground and on to hundreds of stations. He was not book smart, or else he had other priorities after high school; but he turned his lack of education into an asset.

All you have to do is listen to Rusty Limbaugh and know that he is not too bright. I find him rather amusing. I simply shake my head in disbelief at how he can say some of the things he does. If stupidity and ignorance are bliss than Rush Limbaugh is a very blissful person.

College is not a good test of IQ - I have a 172 & never went at all.

But consider that Rush is VERY good at what he does. He has a highly successful show. He's figured out how to "give the people what they want".

OK - so she's also obnoxious, slimey, etc...........

The English language tells you that there would not be (an) placed before (high) because it doesn't start with a vowel. Your spelling is not the best. You may want to rethink your question.

He can probably spell "does" and "college" and "might" but really - he is a radio commentator. Who cares about his IQ? And look at Einstein - he never went to college. Take him for what he is worth - an individual who is entitled to his own opinion. Just like you.

I dont think Rush is stupid at all.....Actually he is very inteligent. People forget, he is simply an entertainer, he is able to covolute any situation to make everything appear to be something it isnt for his followers. He may be many things but stupid isnt one of them.
