I really want to know the baby's sex, is 17 weeks to soon to find out? This is our first baby. I'm 22 and the father is 26.

I was just reading in a book that you can tell the sex at 12 weeks. I am almost 13 and will be going for an ultrasound tomorrow, so I am hoping that we will be able to tell. But by 11 or 12 weeks, the external genitals are developed enough that you should be able to see what you are having----as long as the baby is co-operating

Believe it or not, but I found out my 3rd child was a boy at only 11 weeks. I started having bleeding while at work (I'm an RN in the NICU) so went down to the ER and had a sono done - it was completely obvious it was a boy, but given how early I was, I didn't buy a bunch of blue until it was confirmed at our follow-up sono at 18 wks - still a boy!!! The earlier you are, the more chances of screwing up the gender b/c the development is very similar. Good luck!

I conceived on or around the tenth Oct and had an outstanding attempt on the twenty 6th October so that's possible to get an outstanding consequence that quickly. My ultrasound additionally confirmed an EDD of 6th July so this is totally possible this is yours yet basically a DNA attempt as quickly as the newborn's born will get rid of all doubt.

They sometimes can tell the sex that early, but not necessarily. I'd say you have a 50-50 chance at 17 weeks. You're not too far away, though, so hang on!

i found out i was having a boy at 18 weeks so now 17 weeks isn't to early..
sometimes you won't get to tell
or the baby may not let you...
they wasn't wrong with mine he is 7 weeks old now and a boy

I was 19 weeks when I found out but my friend was 13 weeks. No kidding. So, yeah, you will probably be able to find out the sex. Good luck!

Not really. I was able to see that I was having twin boys at 18 weeks. It really depends on how the baby is sitting.

I was 15 weeks and 5 days when I found out immediately and so far on every sonogram she's been a girl..lol...good luck and congrats!!
